Free loops are easy to find and hard to trust, because the same samples do the rounds under new names.
So here is a list of free loops from Surge Sounds, every file made in-house and ready to drop into a beat.
Every pack below works in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic, and nothing on the list costs anything.
Surge Sounds put Free Loops and Samples together as a complete free kit, melody loops, guitar loops, piano loops and vocal loops.
Each file carries its key and tempo in the name, so it lands in the right place first time.
You get 53 loops in one free download.

Want a hip hop drum kit you can build a whole beat on? Start with Hip Hop Drum Kit.
Every sound in Hip Hop Drum Kit was made with Post Malone in mind.
Inside Hip Hop Drum Kit you get booming 808s, hard kicks, snares, claps, hats and percussion, plus full drum loops, all royalty-free WAV.
It costs nothing, so there is no reason not to add it to your library.

A boom bap beat starts with the right samples, which is exactly what Free Drum Kits 2 is built around.
The download holds dusty kicks, cracking snares, claps, hats and percussion as one-shots, plus swung drum loops cut for sample-based hip hop, nothing filler.
Expect dusty sounds throughout.

Free DnB earns its spot on this list by doing one thing well, a drum and bass sample pack with nothing padded out.
The files are named with key and tempo, so nothing needs re-pitching or stretching before it sits in the beat.
Check the loops first, they are the strongest part of the pack.

Free Phonk is the answer to a phonk sample pack that sounds finished out of the box.
Free Phonk is a collection of hard-hitting drums and drum loops, cowbell melodies, distorted bass, chopped vocals and tape FX, every file made by the Surge Sounds team.
It turns a blank project into a phonk sketch in a few drags.
The UK garage sound has a few signature elements, and Free UK Garage covers the ones that matter.
Count it up and Free UK Garage gives you 45+ loops.
It is 100% royalty-free, no credit and no cut on anything you release.

DESZA Starter Pack is here because every file in it was made for deep house and deep tech, nothing else.
The 12 MIDI files mean every progression can be played on your own synth.
Everything sits in time and in key, so the beat comes together fast.

Surge Sounds made MOTTO Starter Pack as one free download, 34 stems, 54 loops, 8 samples, and 19 MIDI files.
The 34 stems give you the layers separately, for building a drop or a breakdown from parts.
The loops are loose enough to work in EDM and most things next to it.

Free Loop Kit made this list on the strength of its loops.
It works in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic, and in any DAW that reads WAV.

Before the melody and before the mix, a hip hop beat needs its loops right. Free Hip Hop starts there.
That is 35 loops to start with, plus 8 samples.
